The vibe: Newstead embodies the fabulous industrial vibe of Newstead. Think high exposed ceilings, floor-to-ceiling windows, polished concrete floors, but with a hint of that classic Barre Body feel, with sexy sheer curtains and all our special touches.
We’re inspired by: Queenslanders love the outdoors, and our Newstead studio has kept that in our heart! With our beautiful bi-fold doors opening up onto our patio, complete with daybeds, you can overlook the park of Newstead while you enjoy the sunrise or sunset before and after class, sipping tea and enjoying the warm fresh air of Queensland.
What to expect: Our Newstead studio has a sleek and modern, yet industrial feel. Every detail in this studio has been carefully thought out to the finest detail, with a purpose for everything to create a space that feels airy and spacious for our challenging (but always fun!) Barre Body classes.
Where to head after class: With the gorgeous Haven building just finished, you can wander across the road to enjoy a meal after class lunch at so many of the gorgeous restaurants. We are also right across the road from Gasworks (which is the hub of Newstead), where you can enjoy a coffee, breakfast or lunch and even pick up groceries on the way home from class. Or, go for a wander through Newstead to stumble across many of the boutique cafes in the surrounding streets.

The location: Barre Body Newstead is located ground floor at 3/27 Cunningham St. We’re housed underneath a residential building overlooking a gorgeous field and park. Walk in and lounge on our day beds as you wait for class to start.
