At Pilates on Bourke our Barre classes are a fusion of ballet, pilates and body weight training. Exercises target the core, along with the upper and lower body muscle groups to tone muscle, improve flexibility and balance and align posture. Ideal for creating a long, lean shape, barre fusion gives you an efficient, effective full-body workout with flexibility, postural and body toning benefits. Also because the class is fast-flowing with limited breaks, there are increased cardio benefits (but dont worry, you can rest whenever you need to).
