Welcome to the Water Temple, Melbournes premier Floatation Therapy center. From the moment you step into the premises, in High Street Armadale, you start to feel relaxed and far away from the outside world. The foray has become a gallery for Healsville Glass Blowing and features a magnificent chandelier custom made for the Temple. (The huge glass pieces truly represent water, some of the drops are filled with water or air bubbles) the cathedral bell sound that it makes when touched reminds one of a place of worship. The Water temple is passionate about water and helping its community to understand how vital it is for the body and the planet, neither of which can survive without this precious source. We are committed to caring for the oceans and marine life and not long after ownership became sea guardians to the Australian Marine Conversation Society, so with each float you are also benefitting our oceans. Mychelle Whitewood is a qualified Dr of Traditional Chinese Medicine with over 20 year of experience, believes that water is the most powerful element on the planet. The combination of water, magnesium and our dream pods have profound healing benefits. The team at Water Temple wish to share with you their knowledge of all the benefits of floatation therapy, and are there to support you in your float experience.; We tailor as much as possible to the individuals needs, float temperature, audio preferences and lighting and time spent in the dedicated after float space,, where one can reflect on their experience and share in the journal available. There are books to read, or pod like seats to cocoon in and of course refreshments. Water is fluid, soft & yielding but water will wear away rock, which is rigid and cannot yield … what is soft is strong. ? Lao Tzu
