The reformer is a piece of resistance based exercise equipment designed by Joseph Pilates. It consists of a carriage that moves back and forth along railings. Resistance is provided by the exerciser’s body weight and by springs attached to the carriage and platform. We still practice the same 7 foundations of Pilates on the reformer, but this class offers a lot of differences when compared to mat Pilates.This is an intermediate to advanced class and not suitable for beginners. You must attended at least 3-5 beginner reformer classes before attending this class. Please ensure you bring a pair of socks.
